RIDE FREE in the Intermountain Area

with curb-to-curb, on-demand service for all riders.

ShastaConnect’s Intermountain Area Services are available Monday through Friday.

Rides are provided from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dispatch hours to schedule a ride are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Holiday Schedule

ShastaConnect vehicles do not operate on the following days:

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Presidents’ Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day

ShastaConnect’s Intermountain Area services are provided weekdays (Monday-Friday) for Shasta County’s residents living in the communities of Burney, Cassel, Fall River, and McArthur.

This includes the general public, as well as our Consolidated Transportation Services Agency (CTSA) riders who are seniors (60+ years of age) and mobility-impaired individuals (18 and over). Our door-to-door service helps anyone who can’t use conventional transit services get where they need to go, whether it’s a trip to the grocery store, the doctor’s office, or a friend’s house.

Our team of drivers is dedicated to providing all riders with attentive, friendly service, and a great transportation experience. All vehicles are wheelchair accessible.

Our services are available Monday through Friday.  Rides are provided from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Dispatch hours to schedule a ride are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

We generally request 24-hour advance reservations, but we can sometimes accommodate late or same-day requests depending on our schedule.

Do you provide service in my area?

We provide rides in Shasta County outside of the Redding Area Bus Authority’s (RABA) service area and in the Intermountain Area Monday through Friday.  On Sundays, we provide rides in the cities of Anderson, Redding, and Shasta Lake. How do I book a ride?

What hours do you operate?

Transportation services are available from 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday.  You may contact us to book a ride Monday through Friday from 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

How much does a ride cost?

Fares are three dollars ($3.00)* per one-way trip for all riders. *Note – currently fares are temporarily free due to state grant funds.

How soon can I get a ride?
