What is ShastaConnect, anyway?

Some would say we’re microtransit. Others would say we’re specialized transportation. We say we’re a new way to get where you need to go.

At ShastaConnect, we want to change the way you think about public transportation. With just a simple call or tap, we provide on-demand, curb-to-curb, or door-to-door service to the places you want to go. No bus stop needed. And, like all shared transportation, ShastaConnect helps ease traffic congestion and reduce air pollution throughout the region.

Our public transportation services are provided throughout Shasta County and are generally run outside of the fixed-route transit system operated by the Redding Area Bus Authority (RABA). We provide rural transportation services Monday through Friday for the general public, seniors, and mobility-impaired individuals, as well as free curb-to-curb, on-demand transit for all riders on Sundays. For more information about our services, check out our Senior/Mobility-impaired Rider and Sunday Transit service pages.

ShastaConnect is operated by Dignity Health Connected Living (DHCL) and is funded and supported by the Shasta Regional Transportation Agency (SRTA).

ShastaConnect is not a service of RABA.
